RKCR lands British Library/Lindemans

Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R has won the creative briefs for the Australian wine brand Lindemans and the British Library.

Lindemans has appointed RKCR/Y&R to handle a £2 million brief to reposition its wines, owned by the Foster's Group, in the UK and Continental Europe without a pitch. Activity for the campaign is planned for the end of the year.

In April, the agency won another Foster's Group wine brand, Rosemount Estate, following a pitch against DDB London.

Lindemans' advertising was previously handled by the Hampton-based agency Geoff Howe & Associates.

Universal McCann continues to handle media for both Lindemans and Rosemount Estate.

In a separate pitch, overseen by COI, RKCR/Y&R won the brief to launch a new exhibition at the British Library and boost attendance.

The exhibition, Taking Liberties: The Struggle for Britain's Freedom and Rights, will open in October, and will be supported by press, poster and online work.
