Wallis Tomlinson, whose clients include builder Bryant Homes and ISP freecom.net, specialises in consumer brand advertising campaigns and was chosen to deliver a TV, press and radio campaign. The company has yet to appoint an online advertising partner.
"Wallis Tomlinson offered us hard hitting and creative campaigns instead of a safe corporate image which we believe will make us stand out in a competitive marketplace," said Cathy Ainger, marketing services manager at rightmove.co.uk.
The campaign will kick off early next year, with a TV campaign, followed by radio and press activity. An online campaign will follow.
"We've not firmed up who we'll be working with for that, but it's important to us to continue to advertise online because it's a good way of getting to the right people," said Ainger.
The site was sold by life insurance company Countrywide Assured earlier this year, to a new joint venture formed by itself, and estate agency chains Halifax, Royal & SunAlliance and Connell, who all have an exclusive agreement to only provide properties online via rightmove.co.uk.
