Lowe has promoted the new-business director, Jonathan Rigby, to its
head of account management position.
At the same time, the board account director, Sarah Gold, has been
promoted to the new-business director role to fill the gap left by
Rigby.
Rigby has been Lowe's new-business director for two years and in that
time has presided over new-business wins including Orange, HSBC and Sure
for Men.
Chris Thomas, the chief executive of Lowe, said: "Both Sarah and
Jonathan display constant commitment to the philosophy of Lowe. They are
both brand evangelists."
Rigby is taking on the role of head of account management from Mark
Cadman, who was promoted to the deputy managing director role last
year.
"It's great that a top agency like Lowe continues to provide opportunity
for 'Young Turks' like Sarah and me," Rigby said.
Gold, who has been with the agency for ten years, takes on the role of
the new-business director immediately. Gold has worked on a number of
the agency's clients, including Olympus, Reebok and Orange.
"Sarah will bring the passion and tenacity to our new-business effort
that she brings to her account responsibilities," Thomas added.
Lowe hired Rigby as its new-business director in May 2000. He quit from
WCRS, where he was a senior account man, and worked on pitches for
Anchor and Buzz.
