Richmond made it onto the list following an extensive mystery shopper exercise and will cater in four different areas at the venue – the Cambridge Cottage, Orangery, Temperate House and Princess of Wales Conservatory – with the ability to accommodate up to 400 people.
"We were able to demonstrate that not only are we a passionate catering company, but also by working towards the new BS8901 event standards in catering in preparation for the London 2012 Olympic Games, we met Kew's key conservation mission of sustainability," said chief executive of Richmond Creative Event Catering Barry Seaman.
Richmond has also recently been added to the list of preferred suppliers at the Science Museum, which has eight different areas available for hire for up to 2,000 guests.
