Revlon creates global CMO role

Cosmetics brand Revlon has appointed Coca-Cola marketer Julia Goldin to the new position of senior vice president and global chief marketing officer responsible for all its brands, including Revlon and Almay.

In her new role Goldin will oversee all marketing activities for its portfolio of brands, such as Revlon ColorSilk hair colour, Revlon beauty tools and Mitchum deodorants, and will be charged with using marketing to build the global reach of the brands.

Goldin has more than 20 years of experience in consumer packaged goods. She began her marketing career at the breakfast brand Quaker Oats in Chicago before beginning her 13 year tenure at Coca-Cola.

Her most recent role at Coca-Cola was senior vice president and deputy chief marketing officer of Coca-Cola Japan. Prior to that Goldin led Coca-Cola's marketing in the UK and later in Northwest Europe.
