REVIEW: WPP sees recovery in advertising business

WPP saw a slight recovery in its core advertising business for the three months to the end of March. The group's total revenue fell by 2 per cent to £945.8 million, with advertising and media investment management remaining flat with revenue at £426.5 million. The chief executive, Sir Martin Sorrell, confirmed 10 per cent of its worldwide staff had been cut. - General release.
