REVIEW: German media giant Kirch files for insolvency

The German media giant Kirch filed for insolvency this week after a last-ditch attempt to save the business at the weekend collapsed. The company, which holds the broadcasting rights for Formula One and the World Cup, is the fourth to go bust in Germany in the past month - it has debts of around £4.2 billion. - Daily Express.
