Freeview, the BBC-backed digital TV service, has sold half a million boxes in the four months since launch. It has already overtaken ITV Digital, with the number of homes nearing 1.4 million this month. The figure includes the estimated 800,000 former ITV Digital viewers who use their old boxes to receive Freeview. - The Guardian.
