REVIEW: Associated Newspapers places injunction on Northern & Shell

Associated Newspapers has placed an injunction on Northern & Shell in a bid to ban it from using the word "Mail" in its planned London freesheet. Northern & Shell's owner, Richard Desmond, has publicly toyed with the idea of calling the paper either the Evening Mail or the London Evening Mail. Meanwhile, Associated is considering launching a rival to Desmond's Daily Star and has drawn up plans to launch an alternative to OK!. - The Observer.
