‘Whitechapel’, the first of the three-part series inspired by the Kray brothers, was watched by an average of 5.63 million people between 9pm and 10pm on ITV1 and ITV1 HD, a 22.8% share of the TV-watching audience.
On BBC One, an average of 5.22 million people watched ‘Spooks’, which featured Lucas being forced into doing something very naughty, between 9pm and 10pm last night, a 21.1% share of the available audience.
The space documentary ‘Horizon: What happened before the Big Bang?’ was watched by an average of 1.65 million people between 9pm and 10pm on BBC Two and BBC HD, a 6.7% share of the TV-watching audience.
‘Rory and Paddy's Even Greater British Adventure’ had an audience of 1.33 million on Channel Five, and on Channel 4, the documentary ‘Titanic: The Mission’ was watched by an average of 1.02 million between 9pm and 10pm.
