The exclusive range from Duffer of St George, called St George by Duffer, will launch with an autumn/winter collection. It will sit within the current portfolio of designer brands sold in Debenhams stores, which includes Jasper J Conran and Rocha by John Rocha.
The St George range will be aimed at fashion-conscious young men. It will include printed T-shirts and sweatshirts, high-quality knitwear, workwear trousers, jeans and leather jackets. Basic T-shirts will cost from £15 and knitwear from about £30, while top-end leather jackets will be priced about £200.
Matthew Williamson will launch a girlswear collection for three- to 14-year-olds called Butterfly. The designer's signature butterfly motif will be incorporated into the collection, which includes baggy combat trousers, casual skirts and denim. The range will be priced between £9 and £22.
Silversmith Theo Fennell has created a range called Tomfoolery for the retailer. The line of interchangeable sterling silver and 18-carat gold pieces, which spell out 'groovz', 'ballz', 'nutz' and 'curvz', will be in-store from late May. A Silver Plate Gift range that will include a mirror compact, key rings and trinket boxes will extend the line in October.
The brand is Fennell's first foray into the mass market. Until now, his products have been sold in his standalone stores and in Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.
