The association revealed its plans in a press unveiling of new chairman Jonathan Byrne. Byrne said he would not look to make radical changes to the association, but carry on the good work of predecessors Richard Foulkes and Zanine Adams.
Byrne also revealed Meet in Ireland has confirmed it will continue to be a major sponsor of the association and that plans were afoot to make membership easier for young event professionals just out of education.
"It won’t just be Survey Monkey, but a proper research programme with results we hope will be useful to the industry," said Byrne. "We’ve earmarked seven areas."
Bryne was speaking at the National Theatre's The Deck space.
