Following in the footsteps of Renault's famous characters Nicole and Papa, and Thierry Henry, are new characters, Sophie, played by Annelise Hesme, and Ben, played by Jeremy Sheffield, who will be seen in a fresh campaign to launch the new Clio as having "Twice the Va Va Voom". Ben and Sophie are shown each driving their Clio's in their home country as they tease each other about some of the best things about their country for a modern twist to the battle of France vs Britain. The pair are reunited at the end of the ad on the steps of Monmartre in Paris where Sophie declares romantically, "Paris, the most romantic city in the world". Ben then turns to her with a cheeky smile and says "Let's see...".
