The haircare and grooming brand will go head-to-head with rivals Babyliss and ghd, both of which have run TV ads in the past 18 months.

Remington has contacted several UK ad agencies about the brief, which covers multiple markets.
It is not known whether the position of Albion, which handles the brand's UK advertising account, will be affected by the review.

Remington's marketing for its women's haircare range, created by Albion, has centred on digital activity.

Wax Communications has also handled experiential drives for the brand.

Remington was unavailable for comment as Marketing went to press.
