Refuge "Domestic abuse is getting smarter" by BBH

Domestic abuse charity Refuge has rolled out a campaign highlighting how technology is being used by abusers to monitor and control their partners.

The work by BBH centres around a 40-second film that at first glance appears to be promoting a new smartphone, before a voiceover details its features, such as maps that can "keep you up to date with traffic in your area… and her movements".

The full-length film, produced by Hannah May through Optical Arts, is running on TV, in cinemas and on social media, with a 15-second version also being shared by online influencers. It is supported by OOH and radio activations.
