
The Sunday Times reported yesterday that chief executive that it had no plans to sell Reed Exhibitions, which has been valued at around £1.5bn, to help pay down some of its £3.9bn debt pile.
Reed refused to comment this morning on Engstrom's reported remarks.
Reed Exhibitions is the world’s leading organiser of trade exhibitions, employing 2,500 people worldwide.
Parent company Reed Elsevier was in November last year, after just 11 months in the job.
