Reed recruits sales manager for marketing shows

LONDON - The International Direct Marketing Fair has appointed a new sales manager Mark Lewis, who has joined Reed Exhibitions from Lloyd's List Events.

Lewis will manage the sales team for Reed's two major marketing industry events, the IDMF and the National Direct Marketing Show.

He graduated from Leeds University with a degree in German and management studies and initially worked in insurance sales. He then joined Lloyd's where he spent six years selling advertising on shipping and maritime titles, including a spell as deputy advertising manager on the Lloyd's List. He moved into event sales with Lloyd's in 2001.

Darren Whitehead, Reed's exhibition director, said: "We're delighted to welcome Mark into the team. His experience at international level will be a huge benefit to us as the global reach of our marketing shows is increasing year on year."
