Record number of candidates sit IPA exam

A record number of candidates sat the third Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) Foundation Certificate this week.

 

More than 500 people sat six exams at assessment centres in London, Glasgow, Manchester and Edinburgh, up from 288 candidates in 2003 and 478 in 2004.

Of the candidates 62% came from media agencies mostly in the London area.

The IPA is the advertising, media and marketing communications agencies industrial body with 243 corporate members.
