Including Channel 4+1 ratings, the show managed 3.4m viewers and a 15.5% share.
The second episode of ITV1's 'The Great British Body' only had 2.7m viewers and a 12.1% share in the same primetime slot, a disappointing performance for the new series, which concludes tonight.
The slot was won by BBC One's 'Traffic Cops', narrated by Jamie Theakston, with 5.5m viewers and a 25% share.
In the same slot, Five's US import 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' earned 1.8m viewers and an 8.3% share while BBC Two's cookery series 'The Supersizers Go... Victorian', starring Times food critic Giles Coren, brought 1.7m viewers and a 7.5% share.
