Rajar set to show rise for Vaughan
London radio station 95.8 Capital FM is expected to show a major increase in its breakfast audience in the Rajar figures due out tomorrow (Thursday), following a heavy TV adspend to promote the debut of presenter Johnny Vaughan. However, rivals say Vaughan is less popular than his predecessor, Chris Tarrant, and they expect this to be reflected in the next quarterly Rajar figures as the ad campaign's effect evaporates.
