The chat show is Park's first return to radio as a presenter. For the past year, the former Capital Radio controller has been acting as a consultant to Magic as it revamps its strategy and playlist.
The Michael special will feature Park interviewing the singer on the highs and lows of his 20-year career and will feature tracks from his back catalogue. Subject matters will include Michael's relationship with his mother and his long-term partner, as well as his weight problems.
Park claims that Magic, which targets the 30- and 40-something generation, is Michael's favourite radio station. "George is an old friend and he was happy to come in and chat freely. He told me he loves to chill out late at night to our Mellow Magic strand," he said.
The show will be promoted with advertising in London's Evening Standard newspaper and through a viral campaign using Magic's e-mail database.
Magic network marketing director Paul Coleman said: "The shows will combine great music with the sort of conversation that only someone with Richard's A-list contacts could bring to our audience. It promises to be essential listening."
