The first event takes place in Manchester today, attended by people from around 150 commercial stations, as well as advertisers, media planners and buyers from the media and creative world.

Andrew Harrison, RadioCentre chief executive, will be among the six members of the RAB visiting cities including Edinburgh and Bristol, to talk about the plans unveiled in last month's relaunch, designed to help the industry to achieve its potential in the digital era.

They include Radio 3.0 - The Third Age of Radio; using radio as media mix to drive ROI; achieving effective creative in radio; and sonic branding.

The sessions are designed to deliver insight and practical support, including the latest research into helping radio advertisers achieve cost-effective use of the medium.
