Quorn shortlists four for account

Premier Foods has invited Mother, FCB, Publicis and MCBD to pitch for the advertising account of its recently acquired Quorn brand.

The review, handled by Agency Insights, is a blow to incumbent Farm, which will not be repitching. Premier Foods ad agency Clemmow Hornby Inge is also not pitching for the business.

Quorn was bought by Premier Foods from Marlow Foods in June last year. Last month Guy Longworth, marketing director of the group, announced he was leaving the company to emigrate to the US (Marketing, 22 February).

Michael Cohen, marketing manager at Quorn, is also to leave the group at the end of this month to become marketing director at Dairy Farmers of Great Britain, the leading dairy farmers' co-operative in the UK.
