
The new office is located in the centre of the capital’s Old City. Quintessentially Events said its presence will expand the company’s footprint in the Gulf region, where it will provide event management services for luxury lifestyle brands, global corporates and affluent private clients.
Liz Adomako will head up the project as managing director, leading Baku’s international team and working closely with local staff. She joins from McCann World Group where she worked with brands such as HSBC, Shell and American Express as client services director.
Also joining the team is Jonathan Forster Davis, who will take on the role of head of production. He has previous experience in the region, having previously launched and run the Qatar branch of Showforce Services in his capacity as head of special projects.
Bhavna Patel has been hired as senior events manager, while Sarah Gorlov joins as senior events manager.
Anabel Fielding, founder and chief executive of Quintessentially Events, said: "We are delighted to be opening an office in Baku this year. From being the oldest centre of the world oil industry, Baku has turned into a large modern city with its own inimitable appearance in a relatively short space of time.
"Quintessentially Events is excited to launch in this rapidly developing city, after producing a number of events in the past couple of years. Baku is on the rise and we hope to be bring our trusted experience and expertise."
The news comes just one month after the company announced , Italy. Other office locations also in Quintessentially Events' global portfolio include Dubai, Hong Kong and Geneva.
