Quiet Storm unveils idents for Ford's Sky Sports sponsorship

Ford will launch Sky Sports' TV coverage of live football this weekend with a sponsorship campaign by Quiet Storm.

The "destination football" creative will promote Ford Britain's sponsorship of Sky's Premier League coverage and the Uefa Champions League games.

The campaign will include idents, viral, online and SMS executions.

Quiet Storm was appointed by Ford to handle the creative work for its football sponsorship campaign in June after a three-way pitch.

In one of the three 30-second idents, "chair", a woman sits at her office desk. The action cuts to a clip from a football game and the woman's chair begins rattling before carrying her out of the building and down the road, weaving between cars. She arrives at a stadium where a screen above the entrance reads: "Ford. Destination football. Sky Sports."

The campaign was written by Becky Clarke, art directed and directed by Trevor Robinson, and produced by Kate Pirouet through Quiet Storm Films.

Media planning and buying was by MindShare in collaboration with its sponsorship division, BroadMind.
