It is the third TV appearance for the venue in as many weeks.

In late December, the Great Hall hosted a show celebrating dance bands with Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman, while earlier in the month BBC One's Question Time was filmed from the Octagon.

Sue Mussett, business development manager for Events & Hospitality QM, said: "We have an excellent track record with recorded TV and the hosting of a live TV performance has proven our partnership approach to events delivers for our clients."

Events & Hospitality QM provides more than 100 event spaces at the Mile End campus of Queen Mary, alongside facilities in the City of London and Whitechapel.
