"8x8" will feature eight designers each talking for eight minutes on what inspires them and where their ideas come from. The event will take place at Imperial College London on 1 July.
And ilovedesign.com Live will use a "wide range of digital techniques to enable an audience, beyond those attending the events, to input and engage with the content before, during and after".
"We are really excited about extending ilovedesign.com into the live arena. These events will build on the sites success and provide new content for its growing community of users," said Quark marketing director Gavin Drake.
