Quaestor first set up the unit in 1998 with only 10 stations and has grown it since then. The unit boasts a number of blue-chip clients such as Scottish Power, Telewest and Marks & Spencer Money, which conduct research through the unit on a regular basis.
Donald Macintosh, a director at Quaestor, said: "Our CATI unit is strong, clients like the system as it allows them to listen in to the telephone interviews either here in our offices or remotely.
"Being able to listen in gives them confidence in the quality of the interviews. Over one third of the work carried out by the CATI unit is repeat business, which speaks for itself."
Quaestor is also currently in the process of upgrading its interviewing software, providing further scope for flexibility as to approach, with mixed mode interviewing.
The unit can now host online studies in-house and, as with the telephone work, this allows for almost instantaneous feedback to clients if required.
Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Quaestor Research & Marketing Strategists was established in 1986 and has been part of the AIM listed marketing services specialist EQ Group since December 2002.
Recent clients include Barclays Bank, Channel 4, Marks & Spencer Money, Otto UK, JCDecaux, Littlewoods, Telewest, Prudential Assurance, Novartis, CITV, HBOS and Scottish Power.
