In his new role Munier will oversee a team of 42 staff looking after clients including Innocent Drinks, Rightmove and Emap.
This year Pure plans to launch its services in mainland Europe, namely Germany, Spain and France.
It also intends to grow its sales, support, technical and marketing teams to 60 staff overall by next January.
Munier joined Pure in 2005 as an account manager, when the Brighton-based company had seven staff, and then became major accounts sales manager and sales and account director, before accepting his latest role.
Prior to joining Pure, Munier ran his own sign-making business, working for brands including Virgin Trains and Toshiba.
Munier said: "I've spent four years aiding the company's growth and Pure is very proud to be different; an independent business with a passionate team and a positive working environment, which is evident in our results.
"Accountable spending has never been so imperative, and email offers ROI for every pound invested. Pure is in a fantastic position as email marketing is consistently growing in popularity."
