The range will be unveiled in April and will be in shops by autumn.
Starck said: "I have been interested in venturing into the world of footwear for 12 years.The collaborative effort results in a collection of footwear that is modern and minimalist."
The collaboration represents a further step in Puma's strategy to team up with well-known designers in the development of its products.
"The objective of the projects is for an outside designer to share a different perspective so that we can learn from one another," said Antonio Bertone, director of global brand management at Puma.
Late last year, the brand launched 96 Hours, a clothing and footwear collection by Neil Barrett, formerly a design director at Gucci and Prada.
