Publicis has hired one of its own clients to work at the agency as
a director in charge of some of its most prestigious accounts.
Jude Bridge, who joins from United Biscuits, will run the Woolwich,
Nestle and Whitehall Laboratories accounts at the agency.
Bridge said: ’This is a move I’ve often thought about making and now
seems like the right time. In moving to Publicis, I’m joining an agency
I know well and will be working with people who I have tremendous
respect for.’
She has been working with Publicis since 1995 when she joined KP Foods,
which is owned by United Biscuits. Bridge was marketing director for the
Hula Hoops, Skips, Mini Cheddars and Go Ahead! brands.
Publicis worked closely with Bridge on the development of the successful
Harry Enfield ’Oi!’ campaign for Hula Hoops. Grant Duncan, the managing
director of Publicis, said: ’Jude is a champion of good creative work.
She brought the campaign to life.’
Bridge joined Unilever as a graduate trainee. She worked at the company
for 12 years on brands such as Timotei, Lynx, Sure and Impulse in the UK
and across Europe.
Duncan said: ’As an agency we spend a lot of time with our clients
talking about their business and how communications can add value to
that business.
’Jude has a unique combination of commercial under-standing and creative
judgment which will add an extra dimension to that offering.’
