Publicis & Hal Riney poaches Goodby's Chasnow for group creative role

NEW YORK - Publicis & Hal Riney, the Publicis Groupe-owned agency, has poached Goodby, Silverstein & Partners' Adam Chasnow as group creative director.

Chasnow will be based in San Francisco and work on the creative team for telecoms brand Sprint. At Goodby, Silverstein he worked on technology and telecoms brands including: AT&T Wireless, before it was acquired by Cingular; HP; and Adobe.

He will report to co-executive creative directors Jae Goodman and Jon Soto, with whom he has worked before at Goodby, Silverstein. Previously, Chasnow was vice-president and associate creative director at Cliff Freeman & Partners in New York.

Chasnow started as a copywriter and has won awards for campaigns on brands such as Fox Sports, Staples and Mike's Hard Lemonade at shows including Cannes and the D&AD Awards. He also scooped the $100,000 Grand Prize at the Radio-Mercury Awards, honouring America's best radio commercials, for a campaign for Hollywood Video.
