Publicis bolsters Modem with Swiss digital agency buy

LONDON - Publicis Groupe has acquired a Swiss digital agency called Nemos and will integrate it with Publicis Modem Switzerland.

Nemos is based in Zurich, employs 10 people and has clients including Carlsberg, hotels and restaurants group Movenpick and Condor Films. Publicis describes it as "one of Switzerland's leading multimedia and flash programming agencies".

Pascal Urscheler, former Nemos chief executive, and Marion Marxer, former senior brand director of Publicis in Zurich, will co-lead Publicis Modem Switzerland. They will report to Freddy Collioud, president of Publicis Switzerland.

Publicis Modem currently employs 1,200 people in 40 offices around the world. It expanded into Korea last year by acquiring Portfolio.
