The Grade I-listed building on Carlton House Terrace also reported November had been its best month so far.
Becci Thomson, sales and marketing manager at Harbour & Jones Events, said an increase in fine dining was one reason for success. Previously 60% of business was daytime conferences, however the addition of Michelin-starred head chef Stuart Cooper in August had boosted the venue's food offering.
Cooper, who has worked at Chez Bruce and under Herbert Berger at 1 Lombard Street, has put his own stamp on the venue by introducing an eight-course taster menu for eight to 80 guests. Shell, BP, Rolls-Royce and Elsevier Publishing used the venue for dinners during 2013.
"Repeat business is already playing a big part for us in 2014, the Waitrose Christmas showcase will be going ahead again in July and we’re also very excited to be hosting the second installment of Prudential Ride London in August," said Thomson.
The venue is to promote its food offering to event organisers with an invite-only fine dining evening next spring. Its kitchens are to be completely refurbished next summer.
Home to the Royal Academy of Engineering, Prince Philip House underwent a £7m refurbishment before being launched in October last year.
