
The movie, which follows the fortune of a Jamaican bobsleigh team at the Winter Olympics, will be showing on 26-28 November. At the 'Cool Runnings on the ice' event, Guests will be greeted on arrival and taken to 'Jamaica' where a selection of rum cocktails will be on offer at The Duppy Bar, along with Red Stripe, Ting and Old Jamaican Ginger Beer. Reggae vibes will help set the stage and jerk chicken will also be served from the Dubjam Shack.
Those attending will also be able to practice their sled techniques in a bath, along with a host of other activities, such as hair braiding Caribbean style. They will then be transported back in time to 1988 for the Winter Olympics, picking up a warm rum punch en route, a blanket and some hand warmers before taking their bobsleigh-inspired seats on the ice. Food available on the evening will also include a bag of sweet coconut and vanilla flavoured Propercorn.
An after-party will also be held at Bodo's Schloss, on the Thursday and Friday evenings following the event.
This year, Press Play has hosted a 1960s-themed screening of Austin Powers overlooking St Paul's Cathedral as well as an exclusive pop-up film club in the London Underground at Old Street Station.
