Premier Travel Inn revamps its reservations website

LONDON - Premier Travel Inn, the UK's largest hotel group, has relaunched its website as part of a marketing push that also includes an animated television ad campaign.

The reservations system automatically finds customers the nearest available room if their first choice of hotel is not available.

The site has a clean and simple design and improved navigation. It also reflects the visual style of the new Premier Travel Inn brand.

The site also has an express booking facility that is available through the homepage and has details of every hotel. Useful information such as local attractions, maps and travel links are also included.

Whitbread, the owner of Travel Inn, recently acquired Premier Lodge and is just weeks away from completing the rebrand of all its sites.

All 150 former Premier Lodges will now use the same reservation system as the 300-plus former Travel Inns.

Gill Baker, sales and marketing director, said: "An increasing number of bookings are done online and the ease of finding a convenient hotel and booking it there and then makes it a very popular tool for our customers."
