It has created two commercial director roles that will be taken by current group marketing director Howard Beveridge and general marketing manager Dominic Box.
Beveridge will hand over responsibility for the desserts and sweet spreads categories to Box, whose remit will include Hartley's jam, Gale's honey and the recently acquired Ambrosia brand.
Beveridge will oversee teas, beverages, pickles and sauces and will continue to report to chief executive Robert Schofield.
Box, who joined Premier Foods from PZ Cussons in March, currently works under Beveridge, but in his new role will answer directly to Schofield.
The duo, neither of whom will be replaced in their current roles, will be responsible for growing their categories, the success of individual brands and all marketing activity. Premier Foods denied that it marks a sideways move for Beveridge.
Last month Premier Foods made its 拢300m stock market debut, despite concerns over the pricing of its float. The company, which is owned by US venture capital firm Hicks Muse Tate & Furst, generated 拢774m in annual sales prior to flotation.
