Power 100 2019: Nathan Ansell

This year's top marketers.

Power 100 2019: Nathan Ansell

Marketing director, clothing and home, Marks & Spencer

Ansell, who has been at Marks & Spencer since 2011, was promoted to lead the marketing for the retailer’s struggling clothing and home division in January 2018. He gained full control that May when former top marketer Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne left the business. Ansell brought on board TV presenter Holly Willoughby as a brand ambassador and launched the "Must-haves" campaign, before breaking with former agency Grey London and appointing fashion specialist ODD after a diverse pitch. Ansell has striven to revamp the brand’s presence on social media and in ecommerce – a topic he spoke about at Media 360 this May.
