With Direct Line’s ongoing podcast series designed to help customers, a company-wide customer-centricity programme involving senior leaders, Evans’ drive to attract more neuro-diverse talent to the business and his personal Sprintathon cancer fundraiser, Evans epitomises the human side of marketing. His energies are also channelled into industry-wide initiatives, including his chairmanship of the Advertising Association’s Front Foot project to rebuild consumer trust in advertising.
