Farrant is a retail marketer through and through, having spent a decade at Tesco before joining Lidl in 2015. At Lidl she says her focus is to "always stay relevant to our customer, all day every day". Farrant oversaw an advertising and media pitch last year as Lidl sought the best strategic thinking to support its rapid expansion. In December Karmarama was appointed to the £70m ad account, taking over from TBWA\London, while OMD UK landed the media task in June last year.
