Calverley, a former AA marketing boss, has only been at Eve Sleep since December 2018. But she has wasted no time in making her mark. She has already reformed the mattress retailer’s marketing department, and conceived a new comms and creative strategy for 2019. Not one to blow her own trumpet, Calverley enthuses about her team at Eve Sleep, insisting she will work hard to keep them excited, engaged and innovating "at every turn".

Do you have a side hustle?
Slightly embarrassingly, I run an equine livery yard. Well, that sounds a bit grand. It’s more a co-operative bunch of us on a few acres with some scruffy looking ponies, chicken, sheep and cats… but it does mean I don’t need a gym membership.
Which marketer working in the UK do you most admire?
I’d have to call out Shelley Macintyre, global and UK marketing director at Sipsmith, for the phenomenal work growing that brand from nothing and the brave leap from big corp to start-up. Having made a bit of a leap myself, it’s much braver than it looks.
