Jones, who joined the Co-op in January 2018, is a retail marketing veteran who held marketing director roles at Debenhams, Arcadia and Marks & Spencer before spending three years at Australian supermarket Woolworths. She followed this with a stint on the agency side as chief client officer at Carat. In December, Jones hired Lucky Generals as the lead creative agency for the group, tasking it with creating a campaign that would span its food, Funeralcare and insurance businesses. The campaign, "One Co-op", kicked off in May.
