Posterscope wins GM outdoor account

Posterscope has won the outdoor contract for General Motors as the car firm leaves incumbent IPM after nearly 18 years.

The defection follows the decision by General Motors to move its business from Initative to Carat, which, like Posterscope, is owned by Aegis. The deal, which includes brands such as Vauxhall, is thought to be worth between 拢5m and 拢7m, lasting up to five years.

Steve Bond, managing director at Posterscope, said: "General Motors has a great heritage in out-of-home media, so I'm delighted that Posterscope is part of the team that will be working with such a major advertiser."
