The installation takes the form of a pop-up shop, and intends to fully immerse customers in the Porsche brand. Guests will experience gesture control screens, which reveal the world of Porsche, as well as embarking on an exploration of the ‘Sound of Porsche’. There will also be various opportunities to experience the unique character of the company and its cars.
The 3,000 sq ft installation features a living room, kitchen, lounge and home office, with each area designed to indicate how customers’ lives with Porsche could look. In addition, British Porsche factory race driver and 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours winner, Nick Tandy, will be supporting various activities around the pop-up experience on selected dates.
Visitors will get key insights into the classic 911 coupe, the 919 Hybrid LMP1 race car and will receive hints toward the company's future with the Mission E car, the first all-electrically powered four-seat Porsche.
Rather than being a sales point for the brand, the pop-up is designed to be an urban meeting point for Porsche enthusiasts, where they can experience the brand first hand. Models on display include the new 911 GTS and the Macan S Diesel SUV, and visitors can arrange a test drive with the Porsche Centre Chester.
Ragnar Schulte, general manager of marketing at Porsche GB, said: "Liverpool One is a great location and we are delighted to have opened Porsche Life on Peter's Lane. The Pop-up Experience offers every visitor the opportunity to explore first-hand the stories and legends that underpin the Porsche brand."
, marking the first of ten pop-ups the brand will roll out across the UK.
