The brand’s Exclusive Porsche Tour of Rome event, which took place between 15 and 21 October, has been developed by the internationally operating Porsche Tour Club, a company spokesperson told Event.

The five-day event for up to 40 people per tour featured a visit to the Vatican, including a walk in the papal gardens, an exclusive tour to the Vatican Museums and a choral concert in the Sistine Chapel followed by a dinner in the midst of the museum exhibition.

On the website for the event, it stated that the remainder of the trip consisted of an overnight stay at the five-star Gran Melia Villa Agrippina Hotel and dinner at a typical Roman ristorante, followed by a transfer to the Porsche Centre Rom to collect vehicles for a drive through Castel Gandolfo and along the coast to Fiuggi. Guests then spent the night at the Grand Hotel Palazzo della Fonte.

Porsche’s spokesperson added the public event was organised by an unnamed third party company, and was unable to comment on further details regarding the contractual agreement between Porsche and the Vatican.
