The space between Westminster Bridge and Tower Bridge will be a hub of activity, with street theatre, massed choirs and music.

Highlights will include a Fire Garden installation in front of Tate Modern, created by French artists Compagnie Carabosse; Feast on the Bridge, a celebratory harvest event with food, drink and dancing on Southwark Bridge; and The Big Swing, an alfresco ballroom.

On Sunday evening more than 2,000 dancers, musicians and masqueraders will conclude the festival with a night procession, followed by a fireworks display fired from two barges on the Thames.
