The former venue in Trocadero closed in January this year after its lease ended.
The new, 8,639sqm, open-plan space has modern contemporary design in keeping with the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, and can seat 280 people in five dining areas over two levels.
It incorporates a Best of British room, housing a permanent display of celebrated British films, and a private room with its own separate entrance.
"I am delighted that Planet has a fabulous new home in London's West End," said CEO and founder of Planet Hollywood International Robert Earl. "The new restaurant has an incredible ground-floor position and gives us the perfect opportunity to unveil the new Planet Hollywood brand later this year.
"The Haymarket venue will become the flagship restaurant of the group and I plan to emulate the success we have achieved with our casino in Las Vegas."
The star-studded relaunch party, , will now take place in July.
"Expect a glamorous, celebrity-filled opening night party as we put Planet Hollywood back on the London map," added Earl.
