
Onken, the dairy brand, has been busy bringing unexpected joy to some agencies and exasperation to others.
Its pitch, run by the AAR, was narrowed down to two agencies, Euro RSCG London and Hooper Galton, after 18 Feet & Rising was knocked out.
However, Onken has decided not to go with either agency and is now inviting four other shops to pitch instead. Ironically, the brand is currently running a "love me or your money back offer".
No doubt ad agencies will be forming an orderly queue.
DFS has lined up eight agencies for chemistry meetings. They will take place on Friday (2 September) and Monday (5 September), giving four lucky shops Saturday and Sunday to prepare.
Pitches will take place in October between four agencies for the Royal Bank of Scotland media account. These are the incumbent, MediaCom, ZenithOptimedia, Vizeum and Manning Gottlieb OMD.
Bupa has drawn up a shortlist for its £10 million media review, including the incumbent, Starcom MediaVest, PHD and the Group M shops MEC and Mindshare. The third or fourth week in September is likely to be presentation-time but agencies are yet to get a brief.
