Pitch update: Godiva, Kingfisher, Public Health England, AA

A decision is expected in mid-November, with CHI & Partners, Havas and MullenLowe London still in the running.

B&Q owner Kingfisher has been holding tissue meetings with agencies about its estimated £60m pan-European consolidated media business. Pitches are due to take place in the second week of November. MEC is the incumbent in the UK.

Public Health England held pitch meetings with roster shops at the beginning of October. The brief is for a campaign raising awareness of antimicrobial resistance caused by the overuse of antibiotics. Activity is expected to roll out next year.

The AA is set to appoint a new UK media agency after Starcom, the incumbent, pulled out of the current review. The car-breakdown service kicked off the process last month.

Wealthify, an online investment service, is looking for a creative shop to help build its brand in the UK. AAR has contacted agencies on behalf of the Cardiff-based company, which launched earlier this year.
