Piczo signs partners for teen content offering

Piczo, the teen-oriented social networking site, has launched a range of new online channels, with exclusive content from Yahoo Music, MyVideo, Sony BMG and Spleak Media Network.

The new @Piczo channels will provide videos, gossip, and images that users can integrate into their own Piczo pages using existing website building tools.

One of the new channels, Gossip@Piczo, has been launched in partnership with CelebSpleak, part of Spleak Media Network. The interactive channel provides teens with the latest gossip on teen-targeted celebrities and invites members to submit fan sites they have created themselves. In a little more than a week after its test launch, the channel has proved to be one of the most popular destinations on the site, Piczo said.

Chris Seth, Piczo European managing director, said: "Celebrity news is highly relevant to their members' world and Gossip@Piczo is just the beginning of a range of professional content we will distribute on Piczo in the coming months."

Piczo has also launched Music@Piczo and others, including Movies@Piczo and Polls@Piczo, are set to launch in the next few months.
